This is truly a hands-on camp, where personal expression is spotlighted, and group dynamics expand ideas and insight on natural art and science. There will be endless opportunities to be inspired – at the camp’s “Trashion Show” – as well as being the inspiration to others, which will all be showcased in the end-of-camp Art Show.

Art in the Ozark campers will spend their time enjoying a variety of firsthand activities designed to enhance their understanding of the importance of both art and science self-discovery.

Activities include the following:

•              Scientific discoveries in a natural outdoor classroom rich in ecological history
•              Learning to meld biology, chemistry, and geology with art, literature, and music
•              Exploration and scientific testing on ponds, streams, and woods
•              Interdisciplinary science discussion with Missouri S&T faculty and students

NOTE: Campers are welcome to bring personal digital cameras, smartphones, and laptops (but they are not required), however, they will be responsible for all personal items while at camp.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. USA Express provides shuttle service from St. Louis Lambert Airport to Rolla. You can contact USA Express by calling 1-800-872-9399 or visiting their website at https://www.usaxonline.com/.
