Camp Activities:

Designed for high school students, this camp offers a glimpse into the collegiate-level study of psychology, the variety of career options available, and even the opportunity for campers to conduct their own research projects.

Campers will learn about the science behind human behavior, why humans think and feel the way we do, and how psychology impacts our everyday lives. The program also educates them on various investigative tools psychologists use to study the mind, including observational methods, brain activity measurements, and experimental design. By the end of camp, campers will have a chance to conduct a psychology experiment as part of a research team which will also include current psychology faculty and undergraduate students!

Topics that we will dig into include:

  • Sensation & perception
  • Psychology & AI
  • Psychology through our lifespan
  • Music & the mind
  • People in the workplace
  • Design your own experiment!
